Ramtek

Ramtek is city in Nagpur district of the MaharashtraIndia.Ramtek has got Historic temple of lord Rama. It is believed that Ramtek was the place where Rama, the Hindu god, rested while he was in exile. Legend has it that the aashram of great Hindu sage Agastya was situated close to Ramtek.



Ramtek is also known for ancient Jain temple with various ancient statues of JainTirthankara.The main idol of SHANTINATH bhagwan is very miraculus. The miracle of the temples starts with its history itself.



Satpuda Manudevi Temple..

Manudevi Waterfalls

Manudevi Temple is located near adegaon in yewala Tahasil scenic natural surroundings of the Satpura Range. Manudevi is the kuldevi of 70% of the people in the Jalgaon district.


                                                             
It is Situated in the lush green ranges of Satpuda mountains, on the banks of River Tapi, is the Shree Manudevi Temple. It is the supreme family deity of many of the families who reside in the vicinity. 
There is also a 60 feet high water fall near manudevi. about 30 km from Jalgaon city.The front of the temple features a waterfall and is surrounded by hills on three sides and makes a popular picnic spot. School children and college students are frequent visitors.
Manudevi temple is also located in the hills near Bormaal, tal Banoti, Aurangabad, deep in the jungle.

Shegaon... Anand Sagar!!...

Anand Sagar

The attraction of Anand Sagar is Dhyan Mandir of  The Swami Vivekananda. There is artificial lack arouund the Dhyan Mandir.  It has a meditation centre, an aquarium, temples, play grounds, lush green lawns and open theatre where fountain show is conducted for entertainment.

Chikhaldara..

Chikhaldara.... the hillstation!!

Chikhaldara is the hillstation in Amaravati District in Maharashtra. Chikhaldara is located about 100 kilometers north of Amravati and is the only hill station of its kind in the Vidarbha region. It is situated on a mountain range beyond which Maharashtra ends and Madhya Pradesh begins. Place of interest in and around Chikhaldara are the Melghat Tiger Project, Dhakana-Kolkaz National Park, Hurricane Point, Prospect Point, Devi Point, Gavilgad and Narnala Fort, the Pandit Nehru Botanical Gardens, the Tribal Museum and the Semadoh Lake.



The hill station city of Chikhaldara in the state of Maharashtra. Being the only coffee growing area in the state , Chikhaldara also boasts of beautiful lakes, breath taking panoramic viewpoints and exotic wildlife.

Markanda Temple...

Markanda Mahadev Temple

Markanda Dev is the historical and Tourist place which is situated in Gadchiroli District in Chamorshi Taluka situated on the bank of the Wainganga river. Markanda is finest traditions of sculptural and architectural art of the Vidarbha region. Also, the surrounding landscape of small hillocks and the river flowing below have made Markandi a pleasing tourist attraction.


This temple is spread across in 40 acres of land. Markandadeo village is a popular place of God ‘Shiva’ and is grandeur for religious people not only in Maharashtra but also everywhere in India.It has an undoubtedly spiritual character with no less than 24 temples in its vicinity, including the Markanda temple. The temples reflect the architectural style of Khajuraho, although no inscriptions exist to indicate their exact age...


The courtyard of temple is world popular for lady images. The ladies here are engrossed in the action of dance. There are also stories of Ramayana, Mahabharata in the internal part of the temple. The experts say that the total images counted so far are said to be 409. We can not understand its matchless glory and art of Vidarbha unless we see it.
A great fair is held here on the occasion of Mahashivratri.

                                Tadoba Andhari is the  Tiger saving project in Vidharbha Maharashtra. It was established on 1955 in Chandrapur District of Maharashtra State in Central India. Tadoba Tiger Reserve will give opportunity to explore the rich wildlife of the park and spot the animals like tiger, leopard, wild dogs, sloth bear, etc.


                               


There are 59 villages are around the Tadoba forest and there is lake in middle of the forest. 
This lake is a perennial water source which offers good habitat for Crocodile(mugger)  to thrive.Other wetland areas within the reserve include the Kolsa lake and Andhari river.

The main attraction of Tadoba National park is Jungle Safari trips, Open top gypsy Vehicles, Bus with trained guide.This forest is a upcoming wildlife tourism destination due to which it will take 2-3 years to reach an ideal level.
